Calling Features and User Guide:
Abbreviated Dialing – 8 code capacity
Program up to 8 numbers for fast one-digit dialing.
To Program: Dial *74
Enter Speed Dialing Code (2-9).
Enter phone number and # key.
Listen for confirmation tones and hang up.
To Use Speed Dialing 8: Dial the selected Speed Dialing Code and press the # key. Wait for call to be placed.

Program up to 30 numbers for fast two-digit dialing.

Enter Speed Dialing Code (20-49).
Enter phone number and # key.
Listen for confirmation tones and hang up.
To Use Speed Dialing 30:
Dial the selected Speed Dialing Code and press the # key.
Wait for call to be placed.
Anonymous Call Rejection with Calling Name and/or Number
Refuses calls from blocked numbers.
To Activate: Dial *77
Wait for confirmation tones and hang up.
To Deactivate: Dial *87
Wait for confirmation tones and hang up.
Automatic Call Back
Calls the last number to ring your phone.
To Activate: Dial *69
Listen for an announcement giving the last phone number having called you.
To return the call, dial 1 and wait for an answer.
Hang up if you do not wish to return the call.
A recording will state if the line is busy. After the recording, hang up. The line will be checked for the next 30 minutes. A special ring will notify you when the line is free. The call will connect when you lift the handset.
Automatic Redial
Continuously redials the last number you dialed until the call goes through.
To Activate: Dial *66
Listen for ringing and wait for an answer.
A recording will state if the line is busy. After the recording, hang up. The line will be checked for the next 30 minutes. A special ring will notify you when the line is free. The call will connect when you lift the handset.
Call Forwarding
Forwards incoming calls to another phone number.
To Activate: Dial *72
Wait for confirmation tones.
Dial the number to which calls will be forwarded.
A courtesy call will be placed. The call must be answered to activate the feature. If unanswered, repeat process and hang up.
To Deactivate: Dial *73
Wait for confirmation tones and hang up.
Call Forwarding – Busy
Forwards calls only when your line is busy.
To Activate: Dial *90
Wait for confirmation tones.
Dial the number to which calls will be forwarded.
A courtesy call will be placed. The call must be answered to activate the feature. If unanswered, repeat process and hang up.
To Deactivate: Dial *91
Wait for confirmation tones and hang up.
Call Forwarding – No Answer
Forwards calls only when there is no answer on your line.
To Activate: Dial *92
Wait for confirmation tones.
Enter the number of rings before calls are forwarded.
Wait for confirmation tones.
Dial the number to which calls will be forwarded.
A courtesy call will be placed. The call must be answered to activate the feature. If unanswered, repeat process and hang up.
To Deactivate: Dial *93
Wait for confirmation tones and hang up.
Call Forwarding - Remote Access
Allows you to access Call Forwarding when away from your phone.
To Activate: Dial 247-7777 (use area code if out of the area). Wait for confirmation tones. Enter your seven digit phone number and PIN (call Customer Service for PIN).
Wait for confirmation tones.
Dial *72
Wait for confirmation tones. Dial the number to which calls will be forwarded. Wait for confirmation tones and hang up.
To Deactivate: Dial 247-7777 (use area code if out of the area). Enter your seven digit phone number and PIN.
Wait for confirmation tones.
Dial *73
Wait for confirmation tones and hang up.
Note: Call Forwarding is required. Contact us to change the PIN.
Call Waiting/Cancel Call Waiting
Call Waiting alerts you to another incoming call when you are already on the line. Cancel Call Waiting allows you to temporarily cancel the Call Waiting feature.
To Use Call Waiting: Depress and release the switch-hook (or flash) to put the original caller on hold. This also connects you to the calling party.
To alternate between callers, depress and release the switch-hook (or flash) once for each transfer.
To Activate Cancel Call Waiting: Dial *70
When you receive dial tone, dial the number you desire.
Anyone calling your phone will receive a busy signal during this call. Cancel Call Waiting is terminated when you hang up.
Note: The conversation between you and either party is private. If you desire to end the original call when you hear the waiting tone, simply hang up and the phone will ring with the new call.
Call Waiting ID
Allows for the display of the name and/or number of an incoming call when you are already on the line.
You must subscribe to one of the following Caller ID options:
• Calling Name Delivery
• Calling Number Delivery
• Calling Name and Number Delivery
Calling Name & Number Delivery
View the caller’s name and number on incoming calls.
Note: You must have a phone capable of displaying Caller ID information in order for any of the previous delivery options to function properly.
Customer Originated Call Trace
Initiates a trace of the last call you received. If you place or receive another call prior to activating the trace, it will not record the correct number. The results of the trace will be furnished only to legally constituted authorities upon proper request. You will be required to contact the appropriate law enforcement agency for further action.
To Activate: Hang up after receiving the annoying call.
Dial *57
Listen for announcement and follow the prompts to initiate the trace. Be sure to note the date and time.
Contact the Business Office before the end of the next business day for further investigation. You will need to provide the date and time that the trace was activated.
Direct Line/Manual Line
Direct Line automatically places a call to a preselected number when the phone is off the hook for a certain period of time. The designated number may not be an emergency number, such as fire, ambulance, etc. Manual Line connects the call to an operator.
Distinctive Alert/Call Waiting
Provides a distinctive ring or call waiting signal when preselected numbers call.
To Activate: Dial *61

Do Not Disturb
Do Not Disturb
Allows you to place your telephone in an apparent busy condition to all incoming calls without affecting the outgoing features of the line. The calling party will receive a recorded message and your phone will not ring when the feature is active.
To Activate:
- Dial *78 (for rotary, dial 1178).
To Deactivate:
- Dial *79 (for rotary, dial 1179)
Do Not Disturb–Telemarketing
An announcement states that you do not accept calls from telemarketers. Others may dial 1 to complete the call. Contact Business Office to activate or deactivate feature. Must also have one of the Calling Delivery features activated on phone line.
Find Me Ring
Remain mobile by having up to four phone numbers, in addition to your primary phone, ring. Additional phone numbers (i.e. cellular phone, office phone, etc.) can ring simultaneously or in the order of your choice. Additional options also available. Contact Business Office to activate or deactivate feature.
Per-Call Blocking
Block your number from Caller ID on a per-call basis.
To Activate: Dial *67
Listen for confirmation tones, then place your call. Per-Call Blocking will automatically be deactivated when you hang up.
Per-Line Blocking
Block your number from Caller ID on every call made. Allows the service to be deactivated on a per-call basis.
To Activate: Dial *82
Listen for confirmation tones, then place your call. Your Caller ID information will be transmitted for this call only. Per-Line Blocking will automatically be restored when you hang up.
Selective Call Acceptance
Receive calls only from preselected numbers.
To Activate: Dial *64

Selective Call Forwarding
Create a special list of numbers that will be forwarded.

Selective Call Rejection
Selective Call Rejection
Blocks calls from preselected numbers.
To Activate: Dial *60

Three-Way Calling
Conference call with two other parties at one time.
To Use Three-Way Calling: Depress and release the switch-hook (or flash) to put the first person on hold. Listen for the confirmation tones followed by
a normal dial tone.
Dial the number of the person you want to add.
Depress and release the switch-hook again to add the first person back. Now all three are on the line at one time.
Toll Denial – Local Exchange Service
Denies “1+” Long Distance and “0+” Operator calls. Allows only local calls to be made.
Toll Denial – with 800 Service Access
Denies “1+” Long Distance and “0+” Operator calls. Allows local and toll-free calls to be made.
Toll Denial – with PIN Override Service
Denies “1+” Long Distance and “0+” Operator calls unless a PIN is entered.
To Activate: Dial *13
Wait for confirmation tones.
Enter 4 digit PIN. Wait for dial tone. Dial the phone number as usual.
Note: Customer Service will issue PIN.
Voice Mail
Basic Voice Mail consists of 10 messages with a 5-day memory. Enhanced Voice Mail consists of 20 messages with a 10-day memory.
All messages have a maximum length of two minutes each.
Note: Call Forwarding-Busy and/or Call Forwarding-No Answer and Touch Tone dialing are required.
Voice Mail to E-mail
Receive an e-mail with an attached .wav file each time someone leaves you a voice message, in addition to the message in your voice mailbox.
